Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HOT)

Inhaling pressurized oxygen inside the capsule to increase the level of dissolved oxygen, pressure up to 1.5 ATM and oxygen concentration from 25~50%
  • Pressuring effect

At pressured atm, the gas bubbles inside the bloodstream would decrease in size,
  • Effect on Increased PO2

When the concentration of oxygen inside the capsule increase, following the Henry’s law, the dissolved oxygen in the bloodstream would increase.
  • Therapeutic effects

Following effects are shown when there’s increased levels of PO2:
    Enhancement of granulation

Oxygen-hemoglobin And Dissolved Oxygen

Oxygen-hemoglobin

  • -In the blood, the oxygen are bounded to the hemoglobin
  • - Oxygen cannot travel by itself; dependent on hemoglobin
  • -With its size being big, it is very hard to pass through the capillary (90% of the body the capillary)
  • - 99% of the oxygen in the body is oxygen-hemoglobin

Dissolved Oxygen

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy after whole-body PBM therapy
